Milena Bologan

I am a First Class LLB Law graduate from the University of Manchester and work within the Housing Disrepair New Enquiries Team here at Sheldon Davidson Solicitors. As one of the first points of contact for prospective clients, I play an important role in assessing new enquiries, obtaining detailed instructions, identifying potential Housing Disrepair claims, and guiding clients through the initial stages of the claims process. I am committed to providing a professional, approachable service whilst ensuring that all matters are handled efficiently and in accordance with the relevant regulatory requirements.

Prior to joining Sheldon Davidson Solicitors, I gained valuable experience in Housing Disrepair through the University of Manchester's Pro Bono Legal Advice Service. This enabled me to develop a strong understanding of the legal issues surrounding disrepair claims, identify potential causes of action, and provide practical support and guidance to clients experiencing poor housing conditions.

Alongside my studies, I also volunteered with a domestic abuse helpline, where I developed excellent communication, empathy and active listening skills. Working with vulnerable individuals taught me the importance of approaching every client with patience, compassion and understanding qualities that continue to shape the way I support clients today.

I enjoy working in an area of law where I can make a positive difference to people's lives by helping them access legal advice and improve their living conditions. I take pride in ensuring that every client receives a warm welcome, clear guidance and reassurance from the very first conversation.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading and keeping active by exploring the Peak District and Lake District, making the most of the outdoors whenever I can.
