Getting Muddy for Charity

All across the UK hundreds of thousands of women have been showing cancer that hell hath no fury at the Pretty Muddy Race for Life. Amongst those women were a few of our very own team members.

At this years event held in Heaton Park, Prestwich, the group ran 5k and tackled architectural obstacles, all whilst getting extremely muddy along the way. As you can see from our pictures!

The reason? To raise money for Cancer Research UK and help fund the next big discovery in the fight against cancer.

The event in Prestwich took place over both Saturday and Sunday and saw over 25,000 women tackle the mud on the Saturday alone. With the race being just over 3 miles in distance, women of all ages and abilities were able to take part and really make a difference in the fight against cancer.

For the team members involved, this event was more than just a chance to get muddy, tackle some obstacles and show their support. The race also provides an opportunity to fund vital research into cancer with a £19.99 entry fee and the opportunity to raise additional funds through sponsorship along the way.

In total Team Sheldon Davidson Solicitors raised a total of £330 in additional funds through sponsorship along the way.
